This page explains what happens to your information when you visit this website or reach out to Andrea. It is written in plain English on purpose.

Who is behind this website
Calm with Andrea is Andrea McGuill, a Certified Parent Consultant and mum of three based in County Louth, Ireland. If you have a question about this policy, or about your information, email hello.andreamcguill@gmail.com.
What this website collects
This website has no accounts, no sign up, no contact forms and no newsletter. Browsing it asks nothing of you. It does not place its own advertising or tracking cookies. Some basic technical details, such as the pages visited and the type of device used, may be recorded automatically by the platform that hosts the site so it can run properly and be improved.
What you choose to share
When you email, message on WhatsApp, or book a consultation, you choose to share your name, contact details, and whatever you tell Andrea about your family. That information is used for one purpose: to reply to you and support your family. It is never sold, and never used for advertising.
The services this website links to
Booking is handled by Setmore, conversations happen on WhatsApp, and parent stories live on Instagram. Those are separate services with their own privacy practices. Once you arrive at any of them, their own policies apply and they may store your information in their own systems.
How long information is kept
Enquiry messages and notes are kept only for as long as they are useful for supporting your family. If you ask for your information to be removed, that request is honoured.
Who it is shared with
Your information is not shared with third parties for marketing. It would only ever be disclosed where the law requires it, or where there is a serious concern for someone's safety.
Children
This website is written for adults. Children's information is only ever handled through a parent or guardian who reaches out on their behalf.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information held about you, have it corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. You can also object to how it is used. If you are not satisfied with the answer you receive in Ireland, you can raise a complaint with the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the service grows. This page always shows the most current version.
